In April of 1998 Josef Basiorka and Zbigniew Tyrala started their company, J&Z Highlanders, specializing in home
framing and carpentry. Framing homes of various styles and sizes led them to build spec homes of their own design in 2002. Highlander’s Heritage Homes is the name they gave their spec home business. The name stems from the style and craftsmanship of the most beautiful homes in Europe. This bold and elegant home building style is the basis of Joe and “Ziggy’s” designs.

The two men were friends in Poland and brought with them the stylish designs and long lasting craftsmanship of the most revered homes in Europe. Highlander’s Heritage Homes, builds houses of original design as well as rebuilding the interiors of existing structures.
